Our Story
At Memory Corner, everything begins with a love for stories. The idea grew from a mother-and-son team, Carol and Lucas, who both believe memories are treasures worth keeping.
From the time he was little, Lucas was drawn to words. He would read anything he could get his hands on—books at the library, signs on the street, even the labels on the bus. With Carol’s encouragement, his love of reading grew into writing, and he discovered how powerful words
can be in capturing life’s moments.
Carol’s work in senior care gave Lucas many chances to meet and spend time with the elderly. He loved listening to their stories, tales of childhoods, journeys, and experiences that stretched across decades. Together, Carol and Lucas realized how important it was to preserve these voices before they faded.
That’s how Memory Corner at EC Century was born: a place where stories are gathered with care, empathy, and creativity. Through books, interviews, pictures, and videos, Carol and Lucas help seniors share their journeys, creating gifts of memory for their families and legacies for
generations to come.
